INDIANAPOLIS — A teenager was shot on Indy’s west side Saturday night.

Indy Metro Officers arrived on Gerrard Drive, which is near Plainfield Avenue and South Lynhurst Drive, around 9:00.

Officers say he and another person in their car got into an argument, which then led up to the shooting.

Police say no ongoing threats are happening, but they are trying to get surveillance video of the shooting, as well as figuring out what the shooter’s car looks like.

Officers say the teenager was taken to the hospital, and he is expected to be okay.
