DALLAS, Texas — A Southwest Airlines plane that was destined for Indianapolis was apparently hit by a bullet in Dallas Friday night.
The plane had been getting ready to depart Dallas Love Field Airport for the Circle City. According to the company, it was hit on the right side, just under the flight deck.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, and everyone on board was moved to a different flight. The airport also noted that the incident had caused a “minimal impact” on its “operations.”
At this time, it is not clear why the plane was shot, or who may have been responsible. Local police are currently investigating.
