Bicyclist Hit and Killed by Train in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — A person died after being hit by a train while they were riding their bicycle.
It happened late Thursday after 6:00 near Ash Street, which is on Terre Haute’s north side.
Terre Haute cops closed that intersection so they could investigate what led up to the person being hit by the train. They haven’t said who this person was, but they say to stay away from that area.
