ISP: Inmate Dies at Tippecanoe County Jail

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. — State Police are investigating after an inmate died at the Tippecanoe County Jail Saturday afternoon.
Jail staff believe the inmate may have been having a “medical emergency” around 3 p.m. Specific details about this “emergency” were not provided.
Unfortunately, they were not able to save the individual, who was later pronounced dead. At this time, officers do not believe foul play was involved.
