The suspect and three other men leave. The others were driving a gray car with damage to the back end.
An Indianapolis Metro Police officer quickly spotted both cars on Cavalier Court at the Lexington Park Apartments. The officer spotted a man wearing a mask and holding a gun and ordered him to drop it.
The video released Friday from IMPD shows the officer chase Gray and eventually shoot him in the parking lot.
The video shows Gray drop something on the ground and pick it up, and he motions towards his lower body a few more times in the video, which results in more fire from police.
The other three men left in the gray car.
Jarrett Gray Jr. is seen on the ground, with a gun at his waist and another gun on the ground. One gun was converted to fully automatic.
He later died at the hospital. Another suspect was arrested on Shortridge Road, and the victim’s car was returned.
