At Least One Person Killed in Crash on Indy’s West Side

UPDATE: The person who died has been identified as a 54-year-old black man Trampest Lamar Richie.

INDIANAPOLIS–Someone was hit and killed by someone driving a car Wednesday night on the west side of Indianapolis.

IMPD says it happened just before 10 pm on West Washington Street just west of Girls School Road.

Police say the driver of the car stayed at the scene and is cooperating.
