BROWNSBURG, Ind. — Police have arrested two people for a shooting in Brownsburg that left one person dead this week.

18-year-old Marques Hardiman and 17-year-old Christian Edmon, both of Indianapolis, are facing preliminary charges of murder and robbery.

Brownsburg police say the pair met with 20-year-old Emanuel Fonville and a woman Monday around 5:30 p.m. in a parking lot where a new Kroger is being built, to buy marijuana, according to court documents.

Hardiman and Edmon shot Fonville and drove off. The woman was not injured.

Fonville, who was from Avon, died at a hospital.

According to online court records, both Hardiman and Edmon had their initial hearings Friday afternoon. They were booked into the Hendricks County Jail where they are being held without bond.
