INDIANAPOLIS — The body of a teenager who went missing while canoeing has been found in the White River.
Search teams found the body of 17-year-old Kevin Josue Flores Rodriguez on Wednesday afternoon.
Rodriguez and Carlos Rodriguez, 45, were at the river working on a canoe on March 30 when water swept over the dam and caused the canoe to capsize, said Indiana Conservation Officers.
Carlos Rodiguez was helped to shore by witnesses.
Conservation officers and the Indianapolis Fire Department spent multiple days searching for Kevin Rodriguez before his body was found.
An exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
