INDIANAPOLIS — A crash on the south side of Indianapolis left one person dead and another injured Monday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded around 2:30 a.m. to U.S. 31 South, just south of Stop 11 Road, after receiving reports of a two-vehicle collision.

IMPD arrested a man in connection with the crash, and they believe impairment played a role.
