INDIANAPOLIS–One person was killed and two others were shot inside their car on the north side of Indianapolis early Tuesday morning.
IMPD says they were called to St. Vincent Hospital around 12:30 on a report of three people dealing with gunshot wounds.
One of the three died at the hospital. Another one of the three was taken into surgery in critical condition. The other victim is stable.
Officers discovered the shootings happened in the eastbound lane of West 86th street near Ditch Road. They found about 25 shell casings in the road.
Bullets also shattered a window at Kiara’s Eye Brow Threading, a nearby business .
They do believe the shootings were planned.
Police are looking at surveillance video and trying to find witnesses to the shootings.
