Listen Live

Some listeners complained yesterday about Tony’s coverage of how poorly the streets of Indianapolis were maintained after Monday’s snow.

Tony Katz:

The roads weren’t okay. Why would you say to anybody, “How dare you notice?” You know, Indianapolis does this a lot. They do it a lot. The mayor is incompetent there, you know it.

The city is not well.” How dare you notice you don’t even live here. You don’t have a right to say anything,” and t’s like, it’s more than being an apologist. I don’t even know if that’s the right word that they are. This is a break from reality. The people in Marion County, who vote for Hogsett, who vote for Carson, who vote for these progressives like Ali Brown and Vop Osili? These people are broken. They’re broken. They live in this unnecessarily terrible situation, not the end of the world situation, but worse day in and day out with no recognition that it can get better. And anybody who questions what’s happening? They are immediately deemed the enemy. It’s very, very odd, very strange.
