Gruesome And Graphic Crime Scene Photos Shown During Delphi Trial Day 3
What we’re learning about the deaths of Abby Williams and Libby German. It’s horrific. It’s violent. And our guys have been on it. Dave Bangert has joined in on the coverage for WIBC
… and Donnie Burgess is leading the charge from the WIBC newsroom every single day. The coverage is there at WIBC.com, just click on the Delphi trial link. This case is far more gruesome than we ever knew. I’m stunned to the extent to which the Indiana State Police and others were actually able to hold this information quietly. This is a much more multi layered and there are serious questions about what connections there are between the case and the evidence and the suspect, Richard Allen, you’ve sat through all three days, talked to me about your overall experience.
So, Tony, so far, this case is everything that Superintendent Doug Carter of Indiana State Police promised it would be several years ago, he joined WIBC to talk about. Allen’s arrest about two years ago and he said this, this case has far more layers than any case he’s ever experienced in his 40 plus year career. And that’s what we’re seeing evidence of over the last three days. Monday. You know, Tony, every day is going to be emotional. And it’s going to hurt the families all over again. And it’s going to be it’s going to shake the jury for the first time that some of them are hearing some of this for the first time. But Monday was indeed one of the toughest. Monday was the day in which over 40 photographs of the bodies of Abigail Williams, Libby German were shown to the entire courtroom for over 90 minutes in excruciating detail and it is every bit of gruesome and graphic and bloody as we’ve all imagined over the last few years.
