Colts Win Ugly, Get First W Against Hapless Bears

It wasn’t pretty the majority of the afternoon but the Indianapolis Colts earned their first win of the 2024 season with a 21-16 win over the Chicago Bears. Both teams struggled mightily offensively in a first half slog but despite turnovers and mental lapses by both young quarterbacks the Colts emerged victorious thanks to the churning legs of Jonathan Taylor and a woeful Bears offensive line that couldn’t get out of their own way.

The win was much needed for the Colts, who avoided an 0-3 start, despite Anthony Richardson looking inaccurate and completing just 10 passes in the game. It’s an ugly win but it’s a win, nonetheless. On Monday’s show, we were joined by Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin to discuss the victory and why the victory tasted so sweet even if it didn’t look the prettiest.
