One kid from Indiana competed in the National Mullet Championship. Jacob Magouirk from Crown Point, Indiana, made it to the second round with his style “The Dew.” He ranked 22nd in the 5-7 age group. Round 3 will kick off on Aug. 14 and the young champions will be announced on August 28.
However, The USA Mullet Championship is hosting a live event at the Indiana State Fair on Sunday, August 11 at 3:00 PM. This will feature the adult contestants.
Judges evaluate the mullets based on the following criteria:
First Glance:
Contestants must show off their entrance energy and make a lasting first impression.
Spirit:
They have to win over the crowd with their mullet’s charisma and charm.
Metrics:
Competitors must impress the judges with the perfect front, back, and side proportions of their mullet.
Live Performance:
They should bring their A-game to the Denim-Fest stage, where they’ll compete against fellow enthusiasts.
