The Mid-American Conference has postponed all scheduled fall contests, including the MAC championships, because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Several Greenfield students were sent home this week and told to isolate after exhibiting possible COVID-19 symptoms. Parents of two of the students called the Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation’s coronavirus policies an “overreaction” and insisted their children merely had seasonal allergies.

Thirteen more people died from the virus, bringing that total to 2,834.

Administrators were notified of the positive test result late Friday. The student who tested positive was last on campus Monday.
