PLAINFIELD, Ind. — A dump truck and vehicle collided in Plainfield, injuring one person.

The Plainfield Fire Department says the crash happened at U.S. 40 and County Road 0 shortly after 6:30 Monday morning.

Firefighters took the driver of the black hatchback to a hospital in serious condition. Firefighters are investigating the cause of the crash.
