IMPD Arrests Homicide Suspect Accused of Shooting Multiple Men

INDIANAPOLIS—An Indianapolis man has been arrested on murder and robbery charges for a shooting that happened earlier this year.
On Monday, IMPD said they arrested Christopher Highbaugh on Thursday June 12 for being involved in an incident that happened on February 18, 2025 at around 12:15 pm.
IMPD said on that February day, they arrived at a scene on Wallace Avenue near East 38th Street and Emerson Avenue. That’s on the northwest side of Indianapolis. They found four men with gunshot wounds. Cameron Clay was pronounced dead by the Indianapolis Fire Department paramedics.
Quentin Price, Montel Stone, and Javion Harris were all found at the scene with gunshot wounds. They were rushed to hospitals in the area and later survived.
Highbaugh was found and arrested on the southwest side of Indianapolis on Thursday.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office says they will make the final charging decision.
