Keystone Group buys former Anthem building on Monument Circle

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Looking to revitalize the heart of Indianapolis, Keystone Group announced it has bought 120 Monument Circle. The company snagged more than 1,000,000 square-feet of vacant office space for $250 million.
120 Monument Circle used to be the headquarters of Elevance Health — previously Anthem — and will now be turned into a mix of residential, retail, and hospitality developments.
“It’s a centerpiece location in the beating heart of our city,” Keystone Group Founder Ersal Ozdemir said in a release. “Keystone will transform this currently vacant space into a vibrant hub of activity, innovation, and community in downtown Indianapolis.”
The development group says the project will likely include rooftop views, outdoor amenities, and parking.
“We are proud that Keystone has been at the vanguard of renewed private investment in our downtown,” Ozdemir added. Keystone recently completed projects like the InterContinental Indianapolis Hotel and 220 Meridian Tower.
As plans are still in the early stages, Keystone says a wide range of possibilities are being considered for this landmark spot.
