Cargate, Trolling, And Impeachment

Indiana Democrats, and their counterpart media, all of sudden "care" about wasteful spending at the Statehouse. The IN GOP should embrace this impulse and DOGE inflated government.

It’s “Cargate” at the statehouse. We now have Mitch Gore and the Dems (and their likeminded local media) “caring” about wasteful spending by Diego Morales and Micah Beckwith. The IN GOP should embrace this all of a sudden Dem “fiscal responsibility” streak to work together to cut the pork. Instead, we’re getting trolling.

Tony Katz:

Hmm. I think everybody’s going to take these things differently. And I certainly don’t feel any need to not engage a conversation because somebody else has. This brings us to this continuing ongoing drama of the cars. So, you had Diego Morales, the Secretary of State. You had Micah Beckwith, the Lieutenant governor, each getting new cars. Right? They got new cars and they bought luxury vehicles and “how dare they?” And you have the opinion writer there at the IndyStar James Briggs: “We have to impeach Diego Morales”

… And then people are getting upset with Beckwith the Lieutenant governor, and he’s like, fine, I’ll get a cyber truck instead.

Remember the hubbub over the $88K Chevy Tahoe High Country purchased by taxpayers for @MicahBeckwith? After facing criticism he said he’d trade it in for a Tesla.

Now a Tesla Cybertruck sits in the Tahoe’s place.

Ohh, OK. There, there, there, there’s a reaction. Totally rational. Totally rational reaction. Then Beckwith shows up with, I guess, somebody else’s cyber truck parked in his spot. “Thank you, Elon Musk and Donald Trump, for all you’re doing for us”, OK? In a world of trolling, the one eyed troll is king. I don’t know. I don’t know how any part of that is supposed to work. I made an argument yesterday. And the argument is that if you want to impeach the Secretary of State, Diego Morales, you’re more than welcome to. I just want to know what grounds.
