Heaven Can Wait Animal Haven in Muskegon, Wisconsin is bringing back their unique Valentine’s Day fundraiser: “neuter your ex.”
After last year’s successful campaign, the animal shelter is offering to name and neuter a feral cat after your ex in exchange for a $25 donation. The funds will support the shelter’s trap-neuter-return (TNR) program, which is dedicated to humanely managing the local feral cat population.
The TNR program involves trapping feral cats, neutering or spaying them, and then returning them to their colonies. This method helps prevent the overpopulation of stray cats and improves their health, reducing the spread of diseases and unwanted litters.
