Clinton Hoosier Has $1 Million Lottery Ticket

CLINTON, Ind. — While someone in California managed to win the national Mega Millions jackpot (worth more than $1 billion), one Hoosier recently got a $1 million prize.
According to the Hoosier Lottery, Micah Thacker decided to buy a Mega Millions ticket at the Buck’s (Sunoco) on East State Road 163 in Clinton. On Christmas Eve, he learned that it was a winner.
He and his wife apparently plan to use the money to “pay off their house and their daughter’s student loans.”
