Police arrived near 18th and Madison Streets earlier that day, where the teenager ran red lights, crashed a car, and ran away.
Officers also investigated, what they called, was a registered Muncie woman, who the teenager, his father, and another family member were staying with for a few weeks.
She told the teenager when the house was a mess and started to clean it, that’s when he injured her by puncturing her lung and breaking many of her ribs.
Police took the teenager to the Delaware County Juvenile Detention Center.
