Four Killed in Shooting at Georgia School

BARROW COUNTY, GA. — Two students and two teachers are dead after an active shooter event at a Georgia high school.
It took place Wednesday at Apalachee High School in Winder, about 50 miles northeast of Atlanta. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director says nine others are in the hospital.
The suspect, a14-year-old student at the school, is in custody. Barrow County Sheriff Judd Smith said the shooter surrendered to a resource officer inside the school.
Smith called the shooting an act of “pure evil.”
