INDIANAPOLIS — A man was shot while lying in bed early Friday around 1:00.

Police responded to that complaint on Groff Ave. They located the man and discovered he was wounded. He was taken to the hospital where he is recovering.

“Medics transported the male to the hospital in stable condition,” said Capt. John Arvin with IMPD. “Detectives on scene, going to be canvassing for door camera video and hopefully any possible witness who may have seen something outside.”

According to Arvin, there were at least four other people were in the residence at the time of the shooting.
