HANOVER, Ind.—A Hanover College student has been arrested on a felony rape charge.
State Police say on September 17, 2023, the student, 22-year-old Jackson Kruer, and a female student left a party together.
They believe both of them went to the woman’s dorm room. That’s where she claims Kruer sexually assaulted her before he went back to his on-campus residence.
State Police investigators say they were contacted about it soon after she immediately reported the incident to campus security.
Kruer was arrested Tuesday in Clark County and transported to the Jefferson County Jail where he was incarcerated pending an initial appearance in court.
The charge against Kruer is rape, which is a level 3 felony.
