More I-465 Closures Between I-65 and I-70 Starting Friday

INDIANAPOLIS — If you live or work in the Indianapolis area, you will want to know about closures happening on northbound I-465, starting Friday evening.
A nine-mile stretch of the interstate will be closed from I-65 to I-70 for patching, bridge work, and other maintenance. This will impact northbound lanes and entrance ramps.
So, if you will need to drive in the area, there is a recommended re-route option to consider:
- Northbound I-65
- Northbound I-65/I-70
- Eastbound I-70.
The work is expected to be completed by August 5th. Southbound lanes will not be impacted.
