Joe Biden recently received a rather embarrassing endorsement for President. White supremacist Richard Spencer announced that he will be backing the former Vice President in November’s election.

Spencer, who previously endorsed Donald Trump for President, issued a tweet Monday declaring that he was  “on Team Joe,” adding that “liberals are clearly more competent.”

“The MAGA/Alt-Right moment is over,” Spencer wrote. “I made mistakes; Trump is an obvious disaster; but mainly the paradigm contained flaws that we now are able to perceive. And it needs to end,” he added. “So be patient. We’ll have another day in the sun. We need to recover and return in a new form.”

Spencer first rose to prominence in 2016 after shouting “Hail Trump!” and being greeted with Nazi salutes at an event in Washington shortly after Trump was elected.

Spencer distanced himself from the President following the killing of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.
