BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The 22nd-ranked Indiana Hoosiers look to bounce back after taking a tough loss to number-2 Michigan this past Sunday.

They turn their attention to Maryland in a Friday night contest at Assembly Hall. Head Coach Archie Miller said they will once again be without starting freshman point-guard Rob Phinisee, who is still in concussion protocol.

“He’ll have another day today where hopefully we can get him moving in the right direction,” Miller said. “But right now there’s no indictation he’ll be playing for us this Friday.”

In Phinisee’s absence fellow freshman Romeo Langford has had to step up as a ball handler for the Hoosiers, says Miller. That’s a strategy he said in his weekly press conference today that they had been leaning towards even in the event Phinisee was healthy.

As far as Maryland is concerned Miller said the Terps’ ability to play in the paint and rebound will be the toughest test his Hoosiers squad will have to overcome.

Tip off Friday night at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
