INDIANAPOLIS – Expect a mix of sun and clouds today as high-altitude smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to linger over the region. Skies may appear hazy or “milky,” and while air quality alerts are in place for northern Indiana, the smoke is expected to remain elevated in central Indiana. Highs for today will be in the upper 70s.

Tonight will be mostly clear with a low in the upper 50s.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, skies will be partly cloudy with temperatures warming up to the low 80s.

The coming week will see a return to more humid conditions, with dew points climbing back into the “uncomfortable” 60s starting Monday. This will lead to daily, but unorganized, chances for pop-up afternoon and evening showers throughout the work week. Temperatures will remain consistently in the 80s for central Indiana.
