Tipton County Home Catches Fire
TIPTON COUNTY, Ind. — A home in Elwood was destroyed early Saturday after it caught fire.
Firefighters arrived in the area of 6500 East 450 South, where they found a large fire heavy with smoke around 1:30 a.m.
Due to the fire’s massive size, several fire departments were called to assist in extinguishing the fire.
No injuries were reported, and there was no one in the house at the time of the fire, says the Wildcat Township Fire-Rescue-EMS.
Tipton County is located approximately 50 miles north of downtown Indianapolis.
