Chicago Sky v Indiana Fever
Gregory Shamus

INDIANAPOLIS–The Indiana Fever dominated the Chicago Sky in front of a sellout crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon 93-58 to get their first regular season victory in 2025.

The Fever were propelled by last year’s WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark’s triple double (20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists) and four other starters who finished with double figure scoring. Aliyah Boston had 19 points and 13 rebounds for Indiana while Kelsey Mitchell and Natasha Howard finished with 15 points.

Indiana shot 47% the field while Chicago shot 29% from the field and 22% from three-point range.

Chicago’s Angel Reese had 12 points and 17 rebounds in the losing effort.

In the third quarter, Reese was fouled by Clark across the arm. When Reese jumped up to confront Clark, Boston got in between the two players and Clark walked away from it. Clark’s foul was upgraded to a flagrant 1. Technical fouls were assessed to both Reese and Boston.

Indiana (1-0) battles the Atlanta Dream (0-1) on Tuesday night at 7 pm.
