George Foreman has died at 76.
His family announced the news Friday evening on Instagram, sharing a photo and revealing he passed away on March 21, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
“Our hearts are broken. With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved George Edward Foreman Sr.,” the statement read. “He lived a life marked by faith, humility, and purpose.”
Foreman, an Olympian and two-time heavyweight champion, won 76 of his 81 fights, 68 by knockout. His first loss came in the iconic 1974 Rumble in the Jungle against Muhammad Ali
