INDIANAPOLIS — While temperatures are expected to warm a bit later in the coming week, you may not quite be done seeing snow.

Meteorologist Mike Ryan with the National Weather Service says there could be “very light snow” Sunday, along with “freezing drizzle.” It will only amount to about two tenths of an inch on the ground.

Then, “bitterly cold” air is expected for the first part of the coming week, with highs in the teens, and lows near zero. There could also be wind chills around negative ten degrees.

But, temps may climb back toward freezing later in the week. So, if another system brings precipitation next weekend, it may fall more in the form of rain than snow.

As always during this time of year, you are urged to drive slowly and cautiously, as ice is still present on the roads. Get updates at weather.gov.
