Biden Admin Auctioning Off Border Wall Materials
The Biden Administration is pulling an “EVERYTHING MUST GO” sale before leaving office.
Videos are surfacing online of large portions of border wall materials being carted off to auction. US Customs and Border Protection is claiming the Biden administration has a goal of selling all unused border wall materials along Arizona’s border by Christmas.
President-elect Donald Trump is blasting Biden for the “almost criminal act.” He says the petty play will end up just costing the American people more money.
“They know we’re going to use it and if we don’t have it, we’re going to have to rebuild it, and it’ll cost double what it cost years ago, and that’s hundreds of millions of dollars because you’re talking about a lot of, a lot of wall.”
The Biden administration stopped all construction on the border wall in January 2021 after 450 miles had been built by the Trump administration.
The Department of Defense told Fox News that the materials are being sold online by the federal government to government surplus retailers.
Officials in Texas say they plan on buying and storing as much of the materials being auctioned off as possible. They plan on keeping them in place until Trump takes office in January.
Trump suggested that his team will obtain a restraining order to halt sales if “Joe” doesn’t put a stop to it.
