Biden Announces Israel-Hezbollah Ceasefire

WASHINGTON, D.C.–President Biden is announcing a cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah.
He said the deal was reached with help from France, ending the fighting in Lebanon. The Iran-backed militant group has been fighting with Israel within Lebanon since the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7th, 2023.
It’s not known how the agreement would affect the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
