Fire Breaks out in a ‘Single-Family Home’ on Indy’s South Side

INDIANAPOLIS — A fire caused around $200,000 worth of damage on Indy’s south side.
The fire happened early Tuesday around 2:30.
Firefighters arrived at what they said was a “single-family home” that broke out on East Stop 10 Road. That’s in Southport near East Southport Road and South Sherman Drive.
Firefighters said they don’t know how the fire started, nor did they say if anyone was at the home when the fire happened.
