Fire at Former Golden Corral Location on Indy’s Far East Side

INDIANAPOLIS — A large fire broke out early Wednesday at a former Golden Corral restaurant near Washington Square Mall.
Indianapolis Fire Department crews responded to the fire at 10103 E. Washington St. around 4:10 a.m., where they found smoke and flames coming from the vacant building.
According to a Facebook post on November 24, 2020, the Golden Corral closed at this location nearly four years ago.
The cause of the fire and any potential injuries are still under investigation.
