NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Noblesville plans to spend north of $127 million in the fiscal year 2025.
Mayor Chris Jensen says city councilors have approved his proposed budget that will see no significant tax increases, but maintains a focus on what he calls the four pillars of any budget: public safety, infrastructure, downtown & quality of life, and economic & workforce development.
“Our city is growing and with that growth comes a budget strategically crafted to meet the needs of the ninth-largest city in the state,” said Mayor Chris Jensen. “This budget makes investments that support the expanding Noblesville community, stimulates the economy, and grows our tax base responsibly.”
More than half the budget will be going towards maintaining public safety. It will also have hefty investments in continued infrastructure upgrades which includes some extensions of city streets as well as continued construction of the Midland Trace Trail and a new police station.
The city’s forecasters say that city revenues are due to grow by 6.4-percent over the next year.
