More and more people are seeing the policies of the left as woke and weird. Trump is being seen as competent while she is not.

Today is Columbus Day. During Kamala Harris’ failed 2020 run, she was open to replacing Columbus Day with Indigenous People’s Day:

Another example of many as to why Harris never even made it to the Iowa Caucus.

Woke people are weird.

There’s a story by the NY Post out of Oregon with the reporting via Oregon Live that someone who formerly served in the Department of Forestry for Oregon as their DEI strategy officer. What she noticed and complained to management, she said that her boss was “looking beyond gender and identity” and hiring only candidates most qualified for the job. Is that right? You wanted somebody qualified and you didn’t hire only based on sex or race? If you have a DEI strategy officer for your Department of Forestry, chances are you’re doing it all wrong. Very, very wrong.

There is a bigger story here. And it was brought up by Harry Enten. Over at CNN. What do the numbers tell us? Well, I’ll tell you what the numbers tell us. The numbers tell us that when it comes to how people are identifying. How people see where, where, where the country is. They see that people identify more right now as Republicans than Democrats. That has not happened in a good long time. They’re identifying more as Republicans than Democrats. How is that even possible? “Trump this, Trump that, Trump the other.” Trump is not as popular. I’ve said this before as people think, and I believe that his ceiling of support is 48%, just like I believe his floor of support is 48%. But what if people aren’t voting for the popular guy? They’re simply saying I have to vote for someone who’s competent and she ain’t.
