New York County Is Now BANNING Face Masks
Oh, how the hypocritical tables have turned.
A county in New York is getting major backlash after a new law was signed this week banning face masks in public places. We are young enough to remember 2020 when the left was doing everything in their power to bully Americans into not just wearing masks, but even getting vaccinated…
Nassau County, New York is the first to officially ban wearing face masks in the United States. The law does state, however, that face masks can be used in cases of religion, cultural necessity, and health.
While the ban isn’t targeting the fearmongering of COVID, they are targeting public safety. The legislator stated that the ban was in response to “antisemitic incidents, often perpetrated by those in masks.” It has also become a major problem around the country with criminals being able to hide in plain sight with face masks while robbing businesses. Nassau County hopes this new law will elevate some of the unnecessary anonymity.
The irony of this all is the extreme left’s reaction. The New York Civil Liberties Union is criticizing the ban as an INFRINGEMENT ON FREE SPEECH rights. The same rights they tried to take away during the pandemic… but we don’t expect them to make that connection.
