Two Parents Arrested For Death Of Their Diabetic Daughter

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Two parents are in jail in Evansville for the death of their daughter.
Alice Bredhold, who was 12, was found dead on her bedroom floor in early July. She was diabetic and the coroner says she died of diabetic ketosis.
Court documents say her parents Ashley and Brent Bredhold have been arrested and charged with neglect for failing to adequately help her monitor her diabetes.
Child Services had been involved with the family before after her school had reported to DCS that Alice had extremely high blood sugar levels.
Two other kids were removed from the home which had terrible living conditions. Investigators say they found bugs and trash all over the place inside their house.
