INDIANAPOLIS — While Saturday was scheduled to be a day honoring The Beatles at the Indiana State Fair, there will be another opportunity to celebrate the Fab Four at the fairgrounds later this year.

The Beatles performed at the State Fair on September 3rd, 1964. So, the fairgrounds will be hosting a 60-year anniversary celebration next month… with a few surprises.

For one, standard tickets for the “1964 Seems Like Yesterday” event will cost $5 – which was the same price of tickets in 1964. All of the songs that will be featured will also be from the group’s original setlist.

This means you can enjoy the setlist at the same venue, on the same date, for the same price as attendees six decades ago. You can even listen to audio from1964 prior to the performance of a tribute band.

And, there will be a new, Beatles-themed art installation unveiled, if you need a more modern distraction.
