MUST WATCH: American Mother Gives Powerful Speech at RNC
Day two of the Republican National Convention hosted an all-star round of encouraging, hopeful, and patriotic speeches. Political leaders from Sen. Ted Cruz, Gov. Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders all brought the house to their feet with their words of truth and passion. However, the most powerful speech of the night came from the “everyday American.”
Madeline Brame, a mother and former Democratic supporter, took to the RNC stage Tuesday night in Milwaukee to plead for new leadership in the White House.
Brame shared her heartbreaking story of losing her son to the violence brought in by the Biden Administration. She passionately told the crowd that her son, Sgt. Hason Correa, a 35 year-old Afghanistan war veteran, was fatally beaten and stabbed in Harlem which stemmed from the ongoing violence in cities across the country.
“He received enemy fire from the Taliban only to be murdered by a knife in New York City.”
The mother explained that the group responsible for her son’s death were initially facing justice, but that “changed when District Attorney Alvin Bragg was elected.” She went onto slam the Manhattan DA for his record of being soft on crime. “Two of the homicidal maniacs responsible for my son’s death had their gang assault and murder charges completely dismissed.”
Brame expressed that the Democratic party has a long history of turning on their minority supporters. She stated that Trump is also a “victim of the same corrupt system.”
Former President Donald Trump was in attendance for Brame’s remarks. He along with the rest of the RNC crowd gave a standing ovation.
Brame was just one of several parents who shared their stories of tragedy because of the current White House Administration.
