ALEXANDRIA, Ind. — A travel basketball coach is accused of raping one of his players in Alexandria.
The 15-year-old girl told police that Marc Jones, Jr held a gun to her head and forcibly raped her in the Frankton Elementary School parking lot back in August of 2019.
Investigators say he did it again in Anderson in November that same year. He’s charged with rape with a deadly weapon, sexually assaulting a minor, and criminal confinement.
Jones had already been arrested on similar charges involving a different victim.
