Minnesota Representative and American Seahag Ilhan Omar is married again!
This time, it’s sure to last! This time, it’s for keeps! This time, her spouse is a non-relative (probably)!
Rep. Ilhan Omar announced Thursday in an Instagram post that she had made the brave and courageous decision to eschew her incestuous past and tie the knot with her former political consultant, Tim Mynett.
The happy couple fell in love after Mynett began consulting for Omar’s campaign – first with sound political and then with his penis!
Sadly, the blossoming relationship between the two was met with harsh judgment and disapproval by Mynett’s wife, who chose to ‘consciously uncouple’ from her philandering hubby in December 2019.
Fun Fact: Last October, the now-thrice married Omar filed for divorce from her husband, Ahmed Hirsi, the father of their three children.
Omar’s lawyer at the time cited what he called years of “speculation and innuendo from political opponents and the media” which had “taken a significant toll on Ilhan, Ahmed, and their three children.”
While her lawyer declined to cite specific examples, we suspect he might be referring to that time that Omar allegedly married her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, and the press found out about it.
Fun Fact, The Sequel: Earlier this year, Omar was reportedly fined by the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board, for paying a tax lawyer with campaign funds in order to amend joint tax returns she had filed with Hirsi when she was still legally married to Elmi.
Anyway, that’s all family blood under the bridge now.
