INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police said four people were arrested recently for selling alcohol without a permit and for possessing drugs and stolen firearms.

On Monday, IMPD said its nuisance abatement unit made the arrests on Saturday in downtown Indianapolis. Those arrested were Lorrease Ingram, 24; Farries Maxwell, 18; and Daronte Tarvin, 22, and Jamar Young, 19.

Police say the group was selling alcoholic beverages out of a cooler without proper permits. Officers also found four stolen handguns, more than 100 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and paraphernalia.

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will make the final charging decision in the case.
