Domestic Disturbance Call in Greenfield Leads to Shooting, Man Dead

GREENFIELD, Ind.–Shots were fired by police at a home in Greenfield Monday night and a man is dead.
The Greenfield Police Department got a domestic disturbance call on Sedgewick Lane around 9:20 pm. When they got to the home, State Police Sergeant John Perrine says a man named Ted Feasel answered the door.
“He eventually shut the door in their faces and then a few minutes later the officers opened the door and he confronted them with a handgun,” said Perrine.
Perrine says three officers in total fired shots at Feasel.
“They wounded him. After they wounded him, the immediately went into life saving mode to try and save him,” said Perrine.
Feasel was rushed to a hospital and he later died. He was 54 years old.
No officers or other civilians were hurt.
The officers in this case have been identified as Blake Crull (10-year-veteran), Jarrod Davis (6-year-veteran), and Ryan Morefield (5-year-veteran). They were all equipped with body worn cameras. They have been placed on administrative leave, which is standard protocol in these types of cases.
