Indy Leaders “Have Had It” w/ Violence in Indy
Over Independence Day weekend, a massive shooting erupted downtown Indianapolis killing two teenagers and injuring several others.
The shooting happened near the intersection of South Illinois Street and West Washington Street Saturday morning around 1:30. Two teenagers were killed, and at least five have been injured. It was reported Monday that four kids, a 13, 15, 16, and 17 year-old have been charged with dangerous possession of a firearm.
Hammer and Nigel spoke to several leaders in the community about this weekend’s violence. Who is to blame? Can a curfew be enforced? Where are the parents?
