Pike High School Student Arrested After Gun Found in Backpack
INDIANAPOLIS — A student at Pike High School was arrested on Wednesday morning after police found a gun in a backpack.
The Metropolitan School District of Pike Township Police Department said officers were investigating a vaping situation at the school when they found the firearm in the student’s backpack.
The gun wasn’t loaded, but it was confiscated, and the student was arrested without incident.
