INDIANAPOLIS–A woman was found dead at a home on the northwest side of Indianapolis Friday afternoon and a person of interest was detained.
IMPD officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Questend Drive South for a death investigation. That’s in a neighborhood off Kessler Boulevard North Drive near Marian University.
When they went inside the home, they say they found the woman with trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A person of interest was detained by officers on scene and transported to an area hospital due to, what is believed to be, self-inflicted injuries consistent with trauma,” said IMPD Public Affairs in a Friday afternoon news release.
